This really goes to show how hard everyone is fighting in that area to survive. We must try to help everyone to make sure that this beginning portion is the hardest part of their fight.
I believe that an 80-90 year old woman was rescued after missing for 3 days as well. There is another story of a young girl amputating her own leg to crawl to safety. But I don’t think those are the truely remarkable stories. The really moving stories are the ones of people actually coming together and helping others, even in the disaster.

We had a fundraiser last Saturday for the earthquake. I think we are buying tents and sending them over.

Supposively the human body can survive a month without food, but only a week without water. He came pretty darn close to dying.

Wow, 8 days? He came close to dying. I’m impressed. Hopefully more people are still out there, fighting for their lives. I wish them good luck!
